Well nothing to beat the Darma valley. Next time shall try to visit the four bugyals of Nagling. Is there a proper trail leading to these bugyals.

Yes VSK there is a proper trail to the Nagling bugyals. You can just accompany any of the villagers who go there in the morning.

EL ES DEE, I was not in Simla. I however am from Chandigarh which is your hometown I guess. To get to Darma valley you can take the overnite train to Kathgodam. By road next day to Pithoragarh and Dharchula the day after. You can also break your journey in Binsar (maybe on the way back). From Dharchula the trek starts with a drop off at the roadhead of Dar.
