Trekking in South India

Hi Everyone, we are a small group of trekking enthousiasts from Chennai. We have done lots of treks in the Southern States and documented them in text and photos on our blog -

http://sachennaitrekking.blogspot.com/

Anyone is free to join our group and explore great treks in South India.

Peter.

Folks, I like your blogs. I come to South India now and then, and wish to join for a trek.

When is your next programme? Any seven day treks in Coorg area?? Can people like me get advance intimation so that I can come from Mumbai??

You are all most welcome to come trekking around Mumbai as well !!

Thanks for posting your blogs ! Great work !!

You can register on our blog. Once registered I will send you an invitation to our Google Group where you can find information on the next treks planned.

Trek #12 - Escape Road (Kodai-Munnar) - March 21-23
Trek #13 - TBD - April 12-14

Peter.

By the way, any links to good treks around Mumbai?

Peter.

Excellent site Peter. I loved reading about the Dudhsagar falls which seems much more magnificent than what I thought it would be. Will contact when next headed towards TN, sooner rather than later, I hope.

Hello again Peter, Just read the Mukurthy blog. I visited Mukurthy NP in Jan this year, and in Jan last year, but approached from the U. Bhavani side as I was staying at the FRH at Avalanche. Went to Kolaribetta with a friend from TNEB at Av. Power House. Fantastic wildlife, and the most beautiful region I have ever been to; you can tangibly feel the presence of the divine out there. This is now a must do annual pilgrimage for my family. Will get in touch prior to our next trip.
