Thanks again.

I am thinking to make flight reservation (Delhi-Leh) on line from the web page of Jet Airways. Is it secure or reliable?

Dear Skipper,

I have been told that the Yantra will be from June to 18th August. According to our plan we may be strat Amanrnath trek about 13th august or later. Are there pilgrims after yantra official days finished?

Thanks again

You can go to Leh from Srinagar & have ur next trek.
No point in going to Gangotri-Gomukh at that time, specially if u have already seen Amarnath yatra.Better go to Roopkund--"The
Mystic Lake" through villages and vallyes;another memorable tour. But cotact fast to Ind.embassy & J&K tourism deptt.
HI,

Thank to everybody who advised me in this forum about trekking in North India. I have already been in Srinagar and trek to Amarnath Yatra. Both were great. I would like to thanks specially to Skipper who give me this idea.

Moreover, I feel everything quite safe now, although militar control is quite tough. Everybody very nice with us, both kasmiris and pilgrims. Also Militars.

We are now in Padum, preparing the trek to Lamayuru through Zanskar Valley. It took us two day to get horses for loading. Tomorrow we will start trek for ten day.

Thanks again to everybody.
