Trekking in March/April

Hi,

We are a group of friends planning a trek in March/April. Have been to Goechala Last year. Have also done Milam, Sunderdunga, Panchchuli, Nanda Devi Base camp. Would like to go to a different route this year. Duration would be 15 days and should be as away from civilisation as possible. Degree of difficulty can be moderate to difficult.

Thanks

Please try Sinla pass.. Its the most difficult trek in our country's himalayan range. A lot of this trek falls along the Shri Kailsah mansarovar trek and changes just before tibet.

Kalindi khal is not possible in march. Best time is mid Aug to Sept. Try some treks like Rourikauri frozen lake camp to Mt. Deo Tibba base camp. It begins from Prini. I have heard it is amazing trek and a photographers delight.

Or the Chanderkhini / Hamta pass via Malana village. Seems like a good route via Malana.

Trekking in March/April

Your trekking is restricted by altitude. If you go anywhere beyond 12000 feet altitude, you are likely to encounter deep snow.

A suggested route:
Narkanda to Sarahan [7 days]
Sarahan to Sangla [7 days]
