Trekking in Himachal or uttaranchal in Mid-Dec
Guys,I'm lookin for some tour operators who might be arranging treks to uttaranchal or himachal which aren't too hard..basically i'm looking @ alternatives for the YHAI Dalhousie trek @ a reasonable budget.. http://www.yhaindia.org/himalayan.htm .
I am not too keen on the Dalhousie Trek cos it's quite low altitude(highest pt is arnd 2800m)..could someone pls suggest an alternative at the earliest. thanks... |

is te chopta area(tunganath) accessible around 20th dec? and cos this will be my first himalayan experience i would prefer having a tour operator arrange this or atleast 've experienced guides with our group.. is this possible? |

Almost all mid to high altitude treking routes will be snowbound in mid December.
