Trekking in Himachal or uttaranchal in Mid-Dec

Guys,I'm lookin for some tour operators who might be arranging treks to uttaranchal or himachal which aren't too hard..basically i'm looking @ alternatives for the YHAI Dalhousie trek @ a reasonable budget.. http://www.yhaindia.org/himalayan.htm .
I am not too keen on the Dalhousie Trek cos it's quite low altitude(highest pt is arnd 2800m)..could someone pls suggest an alternative at the earliest.
thanks...

Almost all mid to high altitude treking routes will be snowbound in mid December.
