I am at office right now and the phone no's for ozone are back at home. But u can try this out - there is another fantastic shop in Dehra-Dun called Paramount. It has all the trekking gear u can imagine. Info-

Also if ur going to Uttranchal from Trekking - there is this gov orgination known as GMVN. It rents out trekking stuff and is dirt cheap. Follow this link to get a price list

Also at Uttarkashi there is this insititute called Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, u can also hire stuff from this place. My personal experience about this place is - DONT GO - ITS A RED CARPET ORGANIZATION - THE STUFF IS SLIGHTLY BETTER THEN GMVN BUT NOT WORTH THE EFFORT - THE ONLY PLUS IS THE STUFF IS 50% CHEAPER THEN AT GNVM

I am from chennai and i am not aware of any place in chennai where u can buy trekking gear - sleeping bag etc.

But, if u just want a trekking bag, u might get it at Witco. Trekking shoes - any bata or woodland showroom will have.

There are lots of places in bangalore. may be u can do a weekend to bangalore, buy these things that u want and go back.

Think abt it.

Check out "Durable Chrome factory" outlet in "Adyar, 2 Sardar Patel Road". He has a few ruck sack with proper metal frame for support and strength.

My friend had bought a tent one year back and it is functioning good even now except it had a colour fade and functionally it is still good . I spoke to him 2 days back because I am planing to buy one . If you have any other suggestions or know any one supplying better quality please let us know. If you have any reason why stikage is not good expalin it to us so that we can avoid a mistake .

well...First of al..Stikage products are very higly priced and the quality is real poor...I had used some of the rucksacks that they manufacture in Delhi.Their design is realy bad and al i got was a backpain....even their imported products are priced much higher
