trek with no logistic

Hi”

I would really apreciate you help for telling me about treks that can be walked in India en august, considering that I am not carrying with me a tent.... and that I would like to do it without guide.
I am thinking in something like Annapurna trek, in Nepal, where you can stay everynight in guest houses and eat as well along the way.

Is it possible to find something like this in India and in August?

Thanks for your help”

Sari

Two things

1. Dont compare the treks in India to the ones in Nepal - Nepal trekking is more organised - this has its advantages and disadvantages

2. Pls see the following threads

There are quite a few treks that can be done without carrying tents. But august being the rainy season, is not the ideal season for trekking in medium and low altitudes. Also there are the chances of landslides blocking up the roads.
But you can visit the Valley of flowers as that is the blooming time for the flowers. It is a small trek though.
