Trek to Naneghat/Malshej Ghat
Hi,
I am planning for a 1 day trek with my family (parents + cousins, total of 8 people) to Naneghat. I stay in Dahisar, Mumbai. We will be hiring a car. Can somebody explain me the route to reach Naneghat/Malshej Ghat? Also, if somebody has recently been there, pls explain me the conditions over there too. For Naneghat, can we trek by ourselves or is a guide a must? |

You can trek by yourself, there will be lots of company for you is you are trekking on a Sunday.
It is also possible to drive right up to Naneghat. But I don't know the route. Ronak.

Motorable route will be like this : Dahisar - Western E. Highway towards Ahemadabad - before Vasai junction take right for Bhiwandi - Kalyan - Murbad - Malshej Ghat - Junnar - Hadsar - Ghatghar - Naneghat
