Trek/Climb in Chennai - Help

Hi Folks

I am going to find myself in Chennai (visiting from the UK) for a week in mid December and was hoping to get out and about. Can anyone offer any advice on where I should look at to get some climbing/trekking done. Better still....is anyone interested in a meet up.
Cheers
John

Please see the Chennai Meetup thread.

As for climbing here, it is pretty much impossible to even find a place to test a car's uphill performance, let alone climb!

You can do a great deal of trekking between concerts in Mid December, if you have any interest in Carnatic (Southern Indian classical) music!
