Congratulations!!
Great travelogue. Yes, it is a good idea, if such a thing we can do in Indiamike. Probably, need a lot of resources (time etc..). May be if somebody agrees to volunteer. Until then, keep writing and posting to other publishing websites. Good job. |

There are both a Travel Articles and a Members Journals section already.

But, there are SO many travel articles and member journals. So maybe featuring the better written ones is not such a bad idea. Or having an annual travelogue contest and feature the winners on the site. I would be willing to read and screen. I'll even help with the details of organizing it.
I may be a relatively new member but I'm enthusiastic about being a part of this community. |

There used to be a "travel article of the month" pick until recently. I guess it was dropped because of logistical issues or sth.

I'm not talking about members' journals but in the travel article section a particular piece is featured and this changes every few days or so. There are currently 71 articles, most not too lengthy and all clearly titled so readers can choose what to read. And I think that most of them are good quality so there is little need to begin discriminating and ranking them in terms of "better" and "worse".

nice pics too, but not all are taken on this trek .I did sandakphu in last week of january this year. I found only snow, snow everywhere. There was so much snow that our guide advised not to go to Phalut. But the sunrise at Sandakphu was just splendid. i don't have the words to express what i have seen.
