Hiking shops in India

Unlike Nepal and China, India is crap when it comes to getting good hiking and mountaineering gear. It seems there's only a few places in the country, most of them in Delhi and Kolkata. Let's list the ones we know of in this post; I'll start off with one in Dehra Dun:

Paramount
Moti Bazaar 16, Dehra Dun, Uttaranchal, paramount_ent@vsnl.net, tel. +91 135 2658037.
Small shop, but not bad. Imports some Petzl lamps, some German climbing gear, and stocks a relatively good selection of Chinese and Indian sleeping bags. On Moti Bazaar near Paramount there are many army surplus shops with semi-grotty Indian gear.

A few shops away from Paramount is Mountain Equipment India... generally similar stock as Paramount. They had better quality 5 or 6 yrs back, but Paramount has caught up with them.

Just yesterday I informed leem about two shops in Delhi which stock stuff imported from Europe and the US. e.g. MSR stoves and Scarpa shoes.
