the weather in the mountains...
Hi everybody... again another question about the weather in India. I'm going there from the 17th of July till the 12th of August and want to go trekking. I have several options: Himachal, uttaranchal or sikkim. But what's the best place in July? I don't mind a bit of rain, but i do mind waiting a few days because of landslides and never see a mountain because it's too cloudy... So, which state would be the best? Or which part of which state? A few years ago i was in Ladhak, so i would like to go somewhere else. Or is Zanskar really different?
Thanks |

Hi,
Try Darcha to Padum. Its the time for the trek. If still time is there go from Padum to Lamayuru. Well pic of the complete trail are at himalayancamping.com. Else you may try Kibber to Karzok, better other way round. all the best VSK |
