I did the pindari trek alone, with a gide-porter(Debu). The KMVN or Other Agencies may have minm group size. But you can always do any of these treks solo or with just 1-2 friends. Just reach KMVN-TRH at Bageshwar (for Pindari) or Munsiary (for Milam) and ask them to help you locate a guide-porter for the trek

I've read about permits for Milam glacier. Does this also apply to foreigners (UK passport) ?
If a permit is necessary, is the SDM office open on Saturday ?

Thanks, Tim

You travel a lot and everywhere you went, You are a very privileged person to see so much of the world. When I clicked on the pictures and read the captions I fell on the floor-good deal
