Loved your blog, last October me and my friends had been to the same trail till Vasuki Tal, then I missed to take a snap of the vertical wall which takes to the Vasuki Tal ridge, good to see that vertical wall pic at your blog.

Ever been in a situation where you've been overwhelmed with the number of photos to edit? I just finished editing my 2016 photos (836 in number) in a week.
This led me to buy a camera that does good JPEGs out of he box. Enter the Olympus EM5 Mk 2...

For now here's to 2016 and starting with January... These are photos around Patnitop (where I live) and the 4wd that enables me to get out. Sigma DP2M

Yes lol. 5170 photos from 2014. I'm still going through them. (I just posted a few in the 'Best river scenery thread') Although I don't do much editing anyway. Similar number of photos taken on 3 subsequent trips.. and now I'd adding video to my hobbies.

Patnitop looks gorgeous, but your postings deserve to be seen in a higher resolution

Cool Harsil

I have seen lots of beautiful scenes around the world, but the one place that's always stuck in my mind is Harsil, Uttarakhand.

One day, hopefully, I'll spend my life there.

There is a peak - Prini Peak, about 4400 m - that can be climbed from here. One can glissade down from the peak (as my co-trekkers did; the tracks left by them is visible in the center of the picture ). This is how it looked in the second week of May.

I am becoming a regular follower of your blog this days, lovely pictures of the trek with a detailed report, thanks for that.

I have plan to do the Markha valley trek next year, probably would get in touch with you for details.
