You can always reduce the zoom level of your browser page.
Or save the pic and see in a picture viewer with best fit.

What an Amazing thread this is ! Spent the last 2 hrs looking through photos and now i'm sold that i must visit some of these Area's...

In need of Advise !

I'm currently in Vizap India, and have 22 days left in india before flying to Bhutan. I would like to spend around 2 weeks in the NW Region and see some of these amazing mts/vally's/cities/cultures... I was thinking of flying up to the closest place, and perhaps taxing around to a few of the cities for 3-4 days each, or perhaps hiring a jeep for a week or two... trying to stay as budget as i can, and still see some amazing things (tho we know, its all pretty dang amazing). I dont have too much treking gear for high elevation hikes, just day hike equip as i've been backpacking for quite some time now.

Anyway, if anyone would know a good 10day - 14day trip of things i could see/do in the mt areas, i'm all ears !

Hiya,

Take a look at the Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh forums. Lots of ideas there.

Mountain scenery

Sharing few pics from my recent trip to Leh in June this year. The beauty of the mountains and snow capped peaks is beyond any imagination.

...especially the first one with bikes and the Chandra Taal one. I can feel the chill of mountains and the scent of the fog in the first one and the warmth of sun and cold and crispness of fresh air in the second one right through the screen! Amazing!
