Our group is looking to do tentu pass next summers but since this is a rarely done route very little information is available on net

Any information/travelogues/experiences/pics on tentu pass is welcome.

Yes- this is where DHAULADHAR and PIR PANJAL RANGE unites or we can say PIR PANJAL ends and DHAULADHAR starts !

TRAVEL: Manali-Solang Valley
From here trek starts for BEAS KUND.
When you cross TENTU-you are trekking to BARA BANGHAL area which will take you to CHAMBA.
Some people had tried to do it reverse also but mostly prefer to go from MANALI area.

** PONIES DO NOT CROSS OVER- SO PORTERS ARE IMPORTANT.

what I'm wanting to know is that how technical is the approach to tentu pass ... from what I've heard it has a very steep approach which is technical & requires fixed lines. Also the pass itself is kind of funnel shaped with loose rocks falling from all sides which makes it even more risky to cross it Is this true ????

Not to worry won't do it without a guide.
