It was a nice trip. By the help of Raghu/Dilliwala, we did two treks. First to Gohna Tal and other to Kalpeswar. Birahi GMVN was very beautiful. From Pipalkothi we went to a place called Salna by car from where trek for Kalpeswar starts now a days. Road upto Urgam Village is under construction. By mistake driver took us beyond 1 KM of Salna. Real story starts here. We were completely lost as none were available. The driver dropped us and vanished in no time showing us a path which is not at all the way to Kalpeswar. After a stiff uphill climbing of 2 KM we reached to the main trail. It was really a thrilling journey. My son had no problem during the trip.

october is a nice time to venture in high altitudes... most of the old snow would have melted... also you can expect sky to be clear... you can have some stunning views of peaks around..
and kedar taal is a easy and short trek.. so no need to worry much...
