OR if we just wants some snow, lil trek and skiing, he can do to Daya Bugyal or Auli. There are short treks around Auli.
And he has to trek if he needs to reach Dayara.

ROOP KUND is not possible by people having short time. June is also not a month to try this route.July could be risky due to early spell of rains.
Moreover, this is your first time in mountains..choose something which suits you and your team.

I suggest choose a trail where you can go by road with minimum time from DELHI. Like BEAS KUND or HAMATA PASS trails.

I suggest that you guys should consider BEAS KUND. You can reach MANALI by tourist bus from DELHI which is easy and comfortable travel but if your budget allows-you can hire car/jeep foe Delhi to Manali.

Yes chopta is also good. However, what is the acc scene there. I have not gone there during winter.
