Spiti/Lingti Valley in April?

Hello everone
It's my first time in India and I've had a great time these past 2 months.

I'm getting excited about the prospect of a trek coming up at the start of April which goes to Spiti - Tabo to Dhankar to Kaza, lasting for 11 days (4 days transport, 7 trekking).

Anyone know what these places might be like at this time? (Whether conditions, snow, temperature etc?) I understand the best trekking time is later on but this particular trek has a nice group of people and a reliable company organizing it so I am wondering whether to go for this or perhaps wait a few weeks later when the conditions might be nicer and less cold.
I have until early May left in India.

Any thoughts?

You have not provided the trekking route and the places mentioned are all conacted by road. Would be interesting to know the trek route.

The "start" of April is merely two days away, and you are already having second thoughts???

Yes, it will be cold. Night temps will go to four degrees Celsius below zero, maybe two deg lower if it rains in Kinnaur. Nothing that a UK resident can't stomach.

Acclimatize well. I suppose your trekking Company has already taken care of that aspect by a "well designed" route.
