Source of the Ganges trek
Is there anyone on this site travelling with Himalayan Kingdoms on the Source of the Ganges Trek in October 2008?

Well I had been last year - on my own till Tapovan. I am not sure what your trek plan is:
So I guess till about Tapovan you can do pretty much with your own at max a porter cum guide. No special equipment required. It will be like a tea-house trek, beyond that is another thing altogether. |

I agree with spicetrekker. Best time to visit Tapovan is before and after the rains so that you get clear sky and best night to be at Tapovan is full moon night. Hope you make it and we get to see good pics.

At Tapovan... Wow...!!! Now, all I need are a handful of Apsaras to keep me company while I am there...! And yes, I will definitely reach heaven pronto...!!! Cheers...!!! |
