Snow in September

Folks,

I have around 8 days vacation in september. I know it is very hard to see snow during september,as almost all of the sonow would have got melted if you go for treks like hampta pass,kalihani pass,milam glacier etc.

Can you guys suggest me some treks,which is scenic and at the same time has good amout of snow walks and glacier views and can be done in 8 days ?

All high Passes will have snow. In Sept. it will be "packed" and walkable, which is why people choose Sept.

In your proposed treks above, both the Kaliheni & Hampta are 12-month-snow-bound crossings. Milam you can go upto the mouth of the glacier and step on snow.

Thanks a lot Avid Trekker. I understand that you know a large deal of information on himalayan treks.

As I said earlier,I am planning for a trek in september that can be completed in 8 to 9 days ( Manali to manali ).

Can you suggest me the most scenic moderate intesnity trek which is just stunning and awsome.

There are many like,Hampta pass,Kalihani pass,Milamgalicer etc..but unable to decide the best one. Need your help on this.
