Carry normal trek pants may be 4 or 5. Also carry two pairs of inner thermal wears. You get these thermals at hoisery / remdymade garment stores. Can catch temp upto -10 deg. Wear the thermals inside and the normal trek pants over it. Thermal wear priced around Rs 500 to 600 per pair.

Wear in layers so if you feel it's getting warmer (It does get warmer at noon time - the sun rays hit you) you can remove outler layers. As suggested by Amit trek pants will be better.

Right Rishab... but it seems we got a good deal as we 8 of us including stay on full board basis and training in two family bunglows at approx 1lac for 5 Nights. It also includes stay in Rishikesh 2 Nights and travel etc..
Works out to be approx 1500 per day with travel/training/stay/meals.. the works...Well not sure if it is a good deal or not but i think it is worth the try... Amar |

Solang Valley has best slope but no good hotels and no ski chair cars.
Auli has ski lifts but slope is not as steep as Solang. But I agree with skiing at Narkanda...going to try myself...just waiting for a green signal to go ! |
