single day trek - Uttaranchal?

Hi Burf,

If U ever go to Tunganath again just stay there for the night, get up early (3-30am)next morning and start (by 4am)for Chandrashila. Just be there at the sunrise and let it do rest of the talking...

My apology for giving wrong trekking distance from Agoda to Dodital which is actually 16 kms as against 30 kms given in my earlier post. I think I may have inadvertently taken the distance between Dodital and Hanuman Chatti to be that of Agoda-Dodital.

The schedule suggested by ashutosh now looks doable. I, however, still feel that the Delhi - Sangam Chatti road journey followed by a 6 kms trek to Agoda on day-1 is a bit stretched for reaching Agoda before dusk.

Perhaps one extra day would have made your life comfortable and the trek more pleasurable .
