Singalila Ridge Trek, late April '09

Hi all,

We're on a ten week trip to India, and want to end up with a trek on the Singalila Ridge in second half of April (fly back to UK 5 May).

Does anyone have any advice about booking treks there? We are fairly fit, but in our 50s, so don't want to hike 40km per day for several days. We would like to join a group if possible, so we have someone else to talk to. We also need to hire sleeping bags (have own boots). We don't have a great deal of cash, but don't need to save every last rupee. We'll be staying in Darjeeling for a few days before going.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or recommendations for guides/agents who can sort out this sort of trip? Or does anyone have a trip planned that we can join?

Any advice would be appreciated.

TIA

Mick & Sue
