In Yuksom there are many GH or hotels, after Yuksom there is a sort of lodge in Tsoka village, afterwards there are trekking huts (no beds, no food). They might be booked by other trekking groups so you need a tent. Even to sleep in a hut you need matress&sleeping bag.
Agencies in Gangtok charge around 30 USD per day (depends on the number of people) for "all inclusive" trek (transfer to Yuksom, accomodation, food, cook, guide, porters...). You need a permit for Kangchenjunga National Park. This was the situation in 2002. |
