Shakarode Pass
I want to go to Shakarode Pass in E. Himachal (in October, 2008).
The route is: Wangtu (on the Rampur Bushehr - Spiti Road)- Kafnu - Mulling - Kara - Bhabha Pass - Chhochden - Shakarode Pass - Nestall - the pass west of Dea - Bara Kamba - Wangtu. Has anyone don this trek? Please help me. |

I know it is of no help, still mentioning that i bumped into three Russian guys in 2005 at a Dhaba at Kaza who where coming after completing Shakarog pass. One of them mentioned they somehow did the trek with help of a shepherd who came along after a lot of persuasion.
Vaibhav, i will be keenly following this thread to read your personal account of the trek. Please, keep us posted. P.S. I feel October is a bit late and you may not be able to find any Local navigator this time around. |
