Sandakphu or Dzongri/Goechela - opinions?

Looking to do a trek in Sikkim Himalayas in early April and looking for opinions to help decide between Sandakphu or Dzongri/Goechela. They both sounds simply amazing but unfortunately we do not have the opportunity to do both at this time. This is our first time trekking in the Himalayas but have done some other trekking before.

What are the pros and cons? Are there weather concerns in April? Several tour websites indicate that April is a good time.

go for sandakphu...relatively easy and safe for beginers

Dzongri/Goechela is better in terms of overall experience.
However Goechela will be of moderate difficulty and will need you to carry camping gear.

You can always do upto Dzongri and return. Views of Kanchenjunga are awesome from Dzongri top.
