Sandakphu in June
As a teacher in the United States, my trekking is limited to Summer Months. How likely would I be to enjoy the amazing views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjanga from Sandakphu in early June? I would be wiling to get up early if sunrise would offer better viewing?
Thanks! Scott S Minnesota USA |

You may take up the trip to Sndakphu in June, but be sure,in all probabitly,at that time of the year, you are likely to encounter a cloudy day and your willingness to get a clear view of the famous peaks together for which you are comming down from so far might be hampered
; I took a trip last year in May,and only got a view of Mount Kanchenjunga for a few seconds during the whole week ; The best time to go for a trek to Sandakphu would be from December to April,as far as I know. Any other views are welcome.![]() |
