Just look at the stars to beleive it...
I think on a Digital SLR it might have been less grainy, but on a Film SLR with a 100 ASA film, i am quite happy with the results

Good night shot, much more can be done if u have digital one
shooting star trails(new moon day) is a great thing
plus u cud have shot time lapsed pic (sun set or sun-rise ) using intrevalometer..
Go Digital whenever u can !

For Miles To go Team: By the way, sorry guys, my DSLR pics are all in the vicinity of 3-4 mb. For some reason, they arent getting uploaded to picasa. So im painstakingly reducing the file size and putting them up on orkut.

Thanks buddy. The settings were:-
F 3.3 & Shutter speed was 30 sec.s, EV +2(should have kept it at 1). Remember the collection of stones in front of the green kitchen tents, which resembeled roofless houses. I rested my camera on one of those stones..and rest as they say is "History"
