Right time to join NIM ?

Somebody plzz tell tell me in which month NIM (Neheru Institute of mountaineering)cunduct the basic course(for women)of mountaineering.

Hello, Im not sure if they have a specific course timeline for women only. The most I recollect from my friends who have done it mentioned they had a joint batch of boys and girls from all over the country. Best time ideally is during April - May when schools get closed. Also during this time Rothang Pass is open for trek as the snow begins melting and quite approachable. You begin with meditation and fitness, then class room coaching and last 4 - 5 days is only trekking to Rohtang and nearby peaks.

Thnx for ur reply bt as far I know they organize the basic course separately for girls and boys,may be they do this at the same time.And as the duration of the course is 28days...I'm really confused about the time they start their session.

NIM has separate Basic and Advance Mountaineering courses for ladies, usually during the pre-monsoon season. As far as I know, the Basic course for ladies in 2008 has been scheduled from 24th May to 20th June.
