Ramni to Kuari pass trek

where can i find a basic description of the ramni-kauri route
on the web or in some book for that matter where a description
of the trail is given (not just the places along the route) ?

Hi,

I have seen detailed description of this trek

(1) My copy of Lonely Planet "Trekking in the Indian Himalayas".

(2) If you do Google search for this trek, you may get several useful trek details/diaries.

(3) On IndiaMike, you will see there are several other forum threads (old and current) on this particular Trek. Many of the people on those threads have done this Trek. And some of their post signatures have links to their own web travelouges.

Sorry, I can't directly point you to a good/detailed thread (like the one Joern had posted for Milam Glacier Teahouse Trek).

But there is no dearth of info on this trek. If you you find a good link on the trek, do let me know too ... I am planning this trek too ... as mentioned in my thread: Combo Trek of Kuari Pass + Roop Kund.
