Question about Auli and Joshimath

I wasn't sure where to post this....this forum seemed the most appropriate place. I will be in India in March. I will be in Rishikesh for a bit and then would like to check out Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Joshimath and Auli for a couple of days. Are these areas accessible inMarch?

Thanks

Greetings from Rishikesh !!

How many days you are planning to be in Rishikesh? I would like to add some more places near Rishikesh. Places like Kunjapuri, Vashistha Cave & Raja Ji National Park are worth to visit.

auli & joshimath

Hi Friend,

I have been to auli & joshimath in march last year, it was great fun of snow ski and snow camp at auli, really we all enjoy it.

I was with my friend overthere. We took the services from a company running overthere name as adventurtrekking base in hotel Mt.view, although there are many travel agent such as Kite Adventure,Great Himalayan Expedetion,Nandadevi tour & Himalayan Adventures.but we like the guys of adventure and we took them on our trip.

You can contact any of travel agents in joshimath and have a fresh news about snow condition in joshimath.

If its snow over there in march go for high pass ski and camp, you can camp in flat meadow and can ski down there, its real adventure overthere which we have.

Even you can go direct to Family Pheasant cottage based between auli & joshimath, really they care well about guest, they have nice rooms with views and with internet.

joshimath is much crowdy so go for camp or cottage, you will really love it.

I m making some few pages on yahoo geocities, i will add the photographs and report on it, you can get is ASAP we finish the work.

Have a nice journey in the himalayas
