Please help me decide my Ladakh Itinerary

Hey Guys,

Finally i got my visa and i am good to go. I have been in touch with a few travel agencies in India and they have provided me the follwing Itineary with quotes etc for a week long Markha Valley Trek. My apologies if this it long, however any comments/suggestions on the plan and price would be appreciated.

Option # 1 (Total Damage 3140 Rupees/Per Day )
LEH TO CHILLING DRIVE BY JEEP 70 KMS START TREK TO PENTSE 4 HOURS WALK CAMP HEIGHT 3400 MTRS.
PENTSE TO MARKHA 6 HOURS WALK CAMP HEIGHT 3900 METERS
MARKHA TO HANKAR 6 HOURS WALK CAMP HEIGHT 4100 METERS
HANKAR TO YAKRUPAL 6 HOURS WALK CAMP HEIGHT 4300 MTRS
YAKRUPAL TO TSOKRASUMDO 7 HOURS WALK CROSS PASS HEIGHT 4950 MTRS CAMO HEIGHT 4100 METERS
TSOKRASUMDO TO DHAT 5 HOURS WALK CAMP HEGHT 4400 MTRS
DHAT TO LUNGMOCHEY 7 HOURS WALK CROSS PASS HEIGHT 4950 METERS CAMP HEIGHT 4600MTRS
LUNGC=MOCHEY TO SPANGCHEN 5 HOURS WALK CAMP HEIGHT 4500 METERS
FINISH TREK DRIVE BACK TO LEH BY JEEP VIA TAGLANGLA .

Includes - Accommodation (Some GH, cant remember the name though)

Option #2 (Total Damage Rs. 25,400 per person Total + 4.9 % Tax)
Leh – Shey – Thiksey - Hemis
Leh - Spitok (drive) – Trek to Zingchan (3200mts/10496 ft)
Zingchan - Yurutse (3900 mts/12792 ft) via Rumbak
Yurutse - Skiu (3100 mts/10168 ft) via Ganda La
Skiu - Markha (3800 mts/12464 ft)
Markha – Thochuntse
Thochuntse -Nimaling (4700 mts/15416 ft)
Nimaling – Kongmaru La (5150 mts/16892 ft) – SUMDO
Sumdo - Hemis (4 hrs trek) – Leh

Includes - Accommodation (Tsokar Hotel)

Both of them Include, more or less the following.
COOK CUM GUIDE
3 HORSE WITH HORSEMAN FOR CARRYING BAGS PACKS AND RATIONS
RATION WITH FRESH VEGETABLES 3 TIMES MEAL IN DAY
BOTH SIDE TRANSPORTATION OF TREKKING POINTS
ALL THE CAMPING AND NATIONAL PARK FEES
GOOD TENT WITH MATRESS
EXTRA SLEEPING BAG

Trekking Equipments List for Ladakh in Oct

Did some search but could not find a comprehensive list of Items that i should be carrying on a week long Markha Valley Trek.
Here we go, please feel free to add, suggest or reject based on conditions in Oct. FYI,.... this is apart from the stuff that trekking agencies usually promise to take along.

1. Trekking boots - well broken in and waterproofed
2. Down jacket or equivalent with hood
3. One heavy wool shirt or sweater
4. Two cotton shirts
5. One pair cotton trousers or shorts
6. One pair woolen trousers
7. One pair shorts or calf-length skirt for women
8. Three pairs of regular underwear
9. Long underwear - thermal or wool
10. Wind- and rain-gear with hood
11. Sun hat with brim
12. Woolen hat or balaclava
13. Woolen gloves
14. Woolen socks to wear with boots
15. Cotton socks
16. Personal first-aid kit
17. Flashlight with extra batteries
18. Sunglsses or snow goggles
19. Water bottles
20. Pocket knife
21. Note book with pens and pencils
22. Bags
23. Well fitting strong shoes with a couple of woolen socks.
24. First aid set for minor sickness.
25. Raincoat
26. Chocolates, lozenges, candies, glucose and dry fruits
27. Good insulated sleeping bag (maybe)
28. Umbrella

What else?
