That's my point, we have 5 days with us we can opt for any of the above options if we can do it with 5 days starting and reaching Delhi. Since I have no idea about these places ... it would be difficult for me to decide .. which trek would be suitable for me and my friends..
- Sking in Auli and trek upto Gorson This seems to have skiing option also.. how about this trek information.. Last edited by Dilliwala : Sep 12th, 2008 at 14:26. Reason: merge posts |

Auli or Chopta Tunganath
Auli is a good option. Also you may go for cable car ride for some good photography.
Else try Chopta to Tunganath can be done in a day or two. Chandrashila top may be inaccessible due to steep range. But you can try if you are enthusiast and have the willingness to cover with some gear. Chitrang is right. Refer www.gmvnl.com and book online for accomodation. Not sure if skiing will begin during this time. skiing camps are during march - may... |

If u are sure going for Auli and you are not taking the families do get the booking at gmvnl.com online via credit cards...after couple of week it will be all booked..
expenses not much 300-400 perday /per person for ski gears and the guy will teach also .. their is a sterling resort for better stay and food might be expensive ... GMVN is cheap food and stay..check the website for room tarriff |

Sometime even durity December due to lack of snow, you won't be able to skii. Instead a small suggestion guy. Stay at Ukhimath. Just 7 KM from Ukhimath there is a village called Sari. It is on the way to Chopta. Either stay or start trekking to Deoriatal. It's amazing place. Reflection of Chowkhamba is really worth to see. Even in winter it's the only way where you can trek.
