planning to visit Gomuku and the Valley of flowers in the next two days
Can any body tell me about the weather conditions in the Gomukh route and the Badari route? Are there any major land slides lately?

We had an out of the world experience in both the places. Very clear skies in the Gomukh trek, so we were able to see all the snow clad mountains like the Sudarsan peak, the shivling and Bhageerathi parvat in an almost cloudless sky. We were extremely lucky to see this in this season, being monsoon. Thanks to el Nino I suppose?
It was clouded in the VOF. We were just in time to escape the floods and land slides which followed towards the end of July. I have lots of wonderful pictures and I would call it a trip of a lifetime!
