Pindari glacier trek in 1st half of May

Is the Pindari Glacier trek doable during 1st half of May(3rd to 14th May)?
Or any other trek that can be done in this period?
We would prefer a moderate to difficult one-not strenous.
Plz advice

Best trek recomend.

Beadni - Sutol - Ramni - Dhakwani - Kuaraipass - Auli trek.

Duration 10 to 12 days.

you can find both things in it, moderate and difficult trek.

To know more about treks log on to www.gmvn.com / www.adventuretrekking.org / www.uttaranchaltourisum.com / www.treknraft.com

All are best websites recomended by lonely planet and Department of Tourisum.
You will find right info.. on it.

Enjoy your trip.

Well should have defined the "strenous". I meant not requiring technical climbs or use of climbing gear-walking long distance and slope is not a problem

Thanx for suggestions.

I'd go for Shunty's suggestion to do the Bedni Bugyal-Kuari Pass trek.
It provides for unmatched scenic beauty, though, there is a bit of a jungle trek in between.

Cliff: Your avatar photo is very nice. Is that you on top?

cheers
Joe

All the bugiyals are amazingly beautiful. Belak, Panwali, Bedni especially.
The Pindari trek is beautiful, popular so amenities en route are plenty.

I am planning to do the same route i.e. Pindari . Since I will have my two male children , aged 9 and 6 with me , I am curious to know whether the trek can be done by them . What facilities can I expect en-route ? Where can I find porters ? Is a guide needed ?
Any and all tips welcome !

no one seems to back the beautiful but easy KUARI PASS trek ...so here I am saying it to be one of the most beautiful first timers trek of uttaranchal according to the panorama seen from the top.

"Popular amenities" on Pindari route? What exactly are available?

How is the route and snow condition in early May?

Trinity, its great to hear that u plan to take ur sons to the trek
My parents are not very supportive in this respect ..... ..... I have a great deal of trouble getting permission from them.
My best wishes to u and the young trekkers

Pindari is a very easy trek, so i think u can take ur children in the trek. and as for the facilities, u dont need to carry food or tent and even some places provide blankets......u can find porters either in Bharari or in Song....and there is no need of guide and if needed the porters will help you....
