Major diff between 2005 and current yr 2006 is that you people had hardly any water in the rivers... both Parvati and Pin. We had raging torrents.... Also lots of ice and NO crevasses visible during our trip.
It seems you took the second gully to the left after Mantalai.. we took the third gully. Both routes ultimately converge at a point below the pass
Another thing... we "jeeped" thru Lahaul on 14 15 and 16 Sep. We may have crossed each other if you returned from Chandra tal on 14th.... or maybe we were both at Manali on the 13th night, if you came back on 13th.
