if you are a trekker with stamina and experience , you may not need a guide. But preferable. I got the assistance of Mr.Pushpendra Rawat ( peacetripsdotcom)who is also running an NGO.

in the route i covered , guide is needed for Kalshila - Ransi , Anasuya - Hansbugyal ( due to multiple paths on the way) & preferably Panar- Damuk- Urgam

thanks Sagarneel, Kaustabh, khnagabhushan.
we, the trekker community, all have the additional responsibility of photographing what we see and display to others so that all get the same feeling of "anand" that we already experienced, at the same time , being responsible for mother nature, study and respect people and culture of the area where we trek and be good human beings.During the trek we meet a lot of people from different parts of India and the world and share our mind thereby increasing our knowledge and bettering our level of perception.

coming to khnagabhushan : motorable road upto Uniana, but currently public road almost getting completed between Uniana and Ransi ( as a result, it is quite easy to walk the distance) and the road construction underway from Ransi to Gaundhar which will take many years.
Ponies are available from Ransi and from Gaundhar. I heard a ponywala quoting Rs 1300 to Madhmaheswar from Ransi.
But avoid ponys to the maximum, walk if possible ( if health / age permits)and enjoy the nature and find and overcome the limits of our body and mind.
