The movie is The Sound of Music and Mira should know better than to mention such highly contagious melodies here.

Guess what I'm going to be humming for the rest of the day! This thing could have infected IMers all over the world by lunchtime

Oh well: at least he didn't mention Eidlweiss. or Doh, a Dear....

Or My Favourite Things

Worst of all would be I am 16, going on 17... which is the one truly awful song from the film.

Everyone loves to hate The Sound of Music: actually it is a superb film and I challenge anyone not to be sitting in the edge of their seat at the end

<later> Oh my God! He's posted the lyrics now!!!!! Is it true that My Fair Lady is an antidote to The Sound of Music? Should someone post the lyrics to I have often walked down this Street before... or I've grown accustomed to her face.

Or how about Why can't a woman be more like a man?

Ofcourse its a Troll. But I think trolls should be a bit moore controversiall than this one, reaching for the highest tops while your risking your life IS stupid!

Its like what Sienfeld say about the helmet.
"Aperentely whe where involved in a lot of headcracking activetys so we invented a device that would let us continue our headcracking lifestyle"

Or the bit about going to the moon and bringing a CAR.

"It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves." - said, Edmund Hillary.

Most people trek because, they like the experience, they want to know, how far they can go.

Would like to quote George Leigh Mallory.

Why Climb ?

"If you cannot understand that there is something in man which responds to the challenge of this mountian and goes out to meet it, that the struggle is the struggle of life itself upward and forever upward, then you won't see why we go. What we get from this adventures is just sheer joy."

"If you have to ask the question, you won't understand the answer. "

- George Leigh Mallory
Died on Mr. Everest, 1924.

This is the same Mallory who replied "Because it is there", when asked "Why do you want to climb the Everest ?" by a inquisitive press reporter.
