In less than a month I should be huffing and puffing up a trail in Gangotri towards Tapovan and Nandanvan. Nothing too ambitious. I was told the views are spectacular. I have been out a couple of weekends to Matheran and it was pretty wet, but then, in this field I am pretty wet too. Behind the ears, that is. I do not know what to expect but was told that I always had the choice to turn back at any part of the trail. I do not intend to though. Have every intention of reaching Tapovan and Nandanvan.
