hasn't anybody heard of smart wool socks? I got them from a store in London and they are the best. Have done several treks in India and abroad in them with absolutely no problem. Just forget your feet. We should try to find them in India too. I never have thought about socks until I saw this threat. Its good I started with smartwool which are excellent in any weather. look up https://www.smartwool.com/. Thats the way to go.

Hey guys,
Like the others im planning to do the BMC starting 24th April 2010 but its proving easier to get hold of Elvis Presley than NIM! Whats the easiest way for someone living in England to get hold of them?
Thanks

I rang them this morning and spoke to a guy that didn't speak english which didn't exactly fill me with confidence. If the guys in the office don't speak english what will the instuctors be like?

Mojoe, NIM is a premiere institute and there are hundreds of foreigners who have done courses there and i am sure they wouldn't have joined in unless the instructors spoke english. You don't know who you spoke to in the office, could well have been anyone even the sweeper, that doesn't qualify to say that the entire organisation has a language deficiency does it?
I have met several of the instructors from time to time and they are all educated and do speak English.

that post wasn't meant to slate the institute it was just a bit confusing really, I still really want to join the course so I was planning to ring again tomorrow. I didn't mean to cause offence only to enquire if you guys had any experience with the guys there.
