Nelang and Jadh Ganga Valley trek
Successfully completed!
The eight member team
Anant
Anshuman
Ashutosh
Bharat
Kalyani
Kuntal
Rajesh
Ravin
along with climbing leader Vinod Panwar assisted by Jaisingh and Janak
Crossed the 5900M high Basisi Col to crossover to the Saraswati valley at about 1400 Hrs on the 11th of June 2012. The Basisi col is on the southern boundary of the Basisi W Glacier whereas the LRP route of the Army is over the 5850 M high Basisi Pass located on the eastern boundary of the Basisi E Glacier. Thus a moderately difficult but technically non challenging route was forged between the Jahnavi(Ghoragad) valley and the Saraswati Valley. This was the first documented civilian crossover between the two valleys.

now its party time on wonderful achievement... To the Expedition Team
Whenever I get time, I indulge myself in difficult and not so difficult treks (doing them solo adds to the adventure for me).
However, after reading about Harish Kapadia's expedition in the same area and going through this thread as well, it was so fascinating to see that there are people out there who create new challenges for themselves and venture in to the unknown (beyond the world of GE and GPS
)...hats off to all you guys..well done
PS: somehow, I could not open the last two FB links
