4 days too little time to cover these destinations. Limit it to Manali only, even then unless you are flying in & out it is cramped.

But coming to the key point - 4 days Kullu-Manali-Leh is just far too much given the altitude problems and need to get used to it + distances. In any case you do not go to Leh to ski.. right?? So if skiing is the only interest >> catch a flight to Bhuntar airport at Kullu, do some white water rafting, enjoy yourself at Manali, go to Rohtang and do your favourite skiing stuff, return to Manali, Bhuntar and fly back. Leh just does seem not possible or practical at all. |

Still... Leh does not look feasible. Manali to Leh itself takes 2 days, unless you take those crazy Sumos who start 2AM in the morning from Manali and Reach you 10PM to Leh... dumb, deaf, dead, mad, done (I am using very humble and civilised language!!) To do the heck.. yes you can. But what the heck if you can not enjoy the journey and destination as well. Regards Abhay |

Abhay,
Its all fine to go on with no fixed itinerary in the mind and stay with the flow but please do understand that it can be fatal if you are unplanned and unaware of the pitfalls of the altitude. Our OP here is clearly unaware, doesnt seem like he has travelled much at big heights..what if gets hit with AMS (I pray not!). Its better to be careful..so do not, just do not laugh at those who want to be careful with AMS. |
