mustang or leh

someone told me mustang is amazing [better than anything else] but someone else told me mustang is same as leh. is this true? if not which is better?

I doubt many people here, if any, have been to Mustang. I believe u can fly to a point from Kathmandu, from where it's still a 3 or 4 day ride.

I agree with Peak. Leh is great, but it's actually quite "touristy" (although other parts of Ladakh are much less so). You'll probably see more Westerners in Leh than you will in most other places in India (except Goa!). Mustang is still quite remote and isolated, and the main town, Lo Mantang, is much, much smaller than Leh. You can fly in and out of Leh, but that's not the case with Lo Mantang. Jomson is the closest airfield to Lo Mantang

I have read a lot about Mustang and i have many books on the place,based on that Mustang is still untouched and free from tourist traffic,unlike Ladakh.
