Thumbs up Mountcraft-a Hoax

Mountcraft which is a dehradun based agency is hoax-they do not sell anything except second grade sleeping bags and rucksacks.
Much of thier supply is going to local schools and smal agencies and for sure they are dealing in any trekking or climbing gear.

I feel bad that in one forum I do mention thier name but after I deal with them-I came to know that they are very dramatic people who dupe people by false claims.

Yes- there are good companies in DELHI but proble is that they are not having presence on net. I have been told about one in DELHI which is perhaps ADVENTURE18 something like this...I am sure,if you will ask Avid...he might be knowing about them.

We should have a sticky listing the good agencies engaged in hiring and selling good mountaineering gear..

The experienced trekkers here can help I suppose..

I agree-start this but i feel that rules of this forum does not allow..many agencies and operators used IM for self advertising.

I am sure we can WARN people NOT TO USE thier products as list of dupers is getting more and more..

A PERSONAL EXAMPLE:

I used to purchase sleeping bags, rucksacks and some equipment from them.
I purchased thre carabiners and two of them were having damaged screw locks. When contacted MOUNTCRAFT by phone-they asked to send them back and they will replace.

I send them by courier..and taken for a ride. Both FATHER and SON duo lied on repeated phone calls...and never gave me NEW or OLD ones.

This is std. of mountcraft.
RUCKSACKS are also not good...

BEWARE ! BEWARE !! BEWARE !!!
