What happened?

I came across this thread today and see that there has not been any update since December'07. I hope everything is fine!

Does anyone know what happened/ Any news of Leos?

Yes an update from one of his peers/colleagues/family members would be great - a quick google of his name seems to indicate the case has gone a bit cold. Yet his homepage appears to be unaltered & possibly maintained.

Conclusion

Unfortunately, despite all the effort we developed, to this day we have not received any information about our lost friend, Leos Klimes, neither from any person travelling to Leh and sorrounding area nor from the local police departement in Leh or the Czech ambassy.
We were succesful with a money collection for Leos´ family in our little town - myself, I was very pleased how many people willingly gave their money for this purpose, but of course, no money can help when one misses a loving person.
Thanks a lot to all people who helped us in this adventure, especially we thank for help with translating the reward announcing flyers.
The sad thing is, there is no happy-end.

janat,

Thank you for returning and letting us all know. I'm so sorry that you have no happy news. Best wishes to Leos' family.

If you have the final draft of the flyers you can post here, please do.

Janat, and Leos's friends and family, thanks for giving us an update. Very sorry to hear you haven't come up with anything.

What can one say; my sympathies.

For Karuna: Flyer

I do not have the file with the final draft of the flyer with me now but will get it and post it here in one or two days.

That doesn't work for me though, maybe you need to be a member?

If you go "advanced" in your posts/replies here and scroll down a little, there is a "manage attachments" button. You can use this and follow instructions to attach the poster as a file. .pdf files are accepted, there may be size limitations though (100 Kb it looks like).

It worked for me. I think I had to look around for the 'free' option.

Might be a good idea, though, to upload it here too.

I tried to upload it as an attachment but it's too big, and I don't know how to make it smaller.

Thanks janat. Just as a note, and I really hate to say this, you need to update it so it says October 2007.

I feel bad even saying that. I'm so sorry.

Thanks. I don't know how to diminish a .pdf file, if that is at all possible. Here it is as a .jpg file (people can click on it to enlarge, you may then need to click the image you get again to enlarge further); for distribution purposes, it's much better if people use the .pdf file in your link though, which will come in a much better resolution.

Best wishes again.
