Hi!
Me and a friend of mine want to make a trek in Markha valley ending it (if everything is going OK - acclimatization, weather etc.) by ascending on Stok Kangri. We have Nepali tea-house treks experience but not in India (from what I've read it is different). I would like to find a reliable local company which can suggest guidance and (mountain) equipment. How to do it? From home by Internet? On the spot? Some recommendations? How much it should cost, can it be done for about two weeks from Leh to Leh? Is September a good time? By now, I've seen something like that in "Project Himalaya", but their price - 2500$ p/p - looks like pretty steep. Some advice, p-l-e-a-s-e! Last edited by slowtrotter : Nov 4th, 2009 at 21:01. |
