Looking for 3 day trek/hike

Hello, I am currently working in India (Pune to be exact). I have some downtime with my work in which I have this coming Saturday until Wednesday off. I was looking to fly from Pune to Chandigarh on Saturday, which would put me there around 2:00 pm. My goal is to basically do a little bit of hiking, snap some pictures of the Great Himalaya's and then return to Mumbai. Looks like I would be staying somewhere on Saturday the 14, Sunday 15, Monday 16, Tuesday evening depart to Mumbai. This looks like I would have 2.5-3 days.

My questions are below:

1. Is Chandigarh the best place to fly to given my tight timeline (remember, I just want to have a look)?
2. Where should I go from there (or other suggested spot)? I think I would stay in one place and just do two treks from there each day.
3. I don't have any gear, but can get some, I thought a group/guide would be able to help here, could that be arranged?
4. Any other things that could help me make this quick trip possible.

Hi,
If you are still going for the trip you can think of going to Manali. For this go to Delhi and then take a flight to Bhunter (Kullu) and take a Taxi and reach Manali. Do some local walking and return back the same way. Check for the flights to Bhunter.
Else as you reach Chandigarh hire a Taxi and go to GHNP. For this you have to take the route as following:
Chandigarh- Mandi - Aut - Banjar - SaiRopa. You can stay at SaiRopa and do local walking there. Keep the Taxi with you which can drop you back at Chandigarh/ Delhi for the return flights.
