Ladakh trek (Padum to Lamayaru) - Mid Aug - Want to join us?

Hi,

We are a group of three looking for interested trekking mates to join us. We trekked through the Zanskar valleys last year and can't wait to head back to the mountains this year! :-D... In terms of logistics (guide, equipment, cook, porters, horsemen, mules), we are pretty much set since we have approached the same guide who took us last year. He was pretty thorough and took good care of us.

Here's the rough plan -

Route: Padum to Lamayaru
Days: 8-10 days
Dates: 16 August onwards

We plan to fly into Leh, stay a day there to acclimatize and the next day start our drive down to Padum. It takes 2 days to get there. The next 8-10 days will be spent high up in the mountains of the Zanskar :-)...

A bit about our group - A girl and 2 guys. We may have one more person joining us. We are reasonably fit, have some trekking experience and are based out of Bangalore.

Hi Mischelle! I am from Mumbai... a management consultant who treks for a month every year. I am planning to start Darcha - Padum - Lamayuru from the second week of August. Maybe, I could join up with your group at Padum?

You seem to be certain about your dates - when exactly are you starting from Padum? 16th Aug, or later?

I am also planning a decent trek in Himalaya in August End. It can be Triund or Ladakh. I am also looking for a travel companion during this period
