Question Knee deep snow during July-end?

Can someone help me with a good short trek option during the last week of July this year where I can get ample snow to play with?

Thanks in advance.

Please define "short" as in "Delhi to Delhi 6 days" (for example)

By 'short trek' I mean one that can be done in 4 to 6 days of actual trekking, maximum 8 days Delhi to Delhi. The purpose of my trek this time is purely to get into one snow line area as quickly as possible.

Manali -- Kali Heni Pass -- Manali via tough route can be done in four days.

Same Pass approached via gentler route will take six days.

I suggest take the gentler route.

Manali to Rohtang Pass can be done by share-a-jeep in around three hours. Play in the snow at Rohtang and come back by the same jeep. There will be some snow on Rohtang top, but nowadays due to global warming and constant vehicular traffic at Rohtang, knee deep snow is doubtful. Still, you may try out Rohtang top as most Manali first timers go there to "play in snow".

Thanks AvidTrekker for the suggestion. Can you provide me the detailed information about the Manali - Kali Heni Pass - Manali route?
I had been to Rotang during the month of June and crossed it for a trip to Keylong. I doubt if during end July, I will get any snow at Rotang.

How about the Baralacha, Pin Parvati, or the Sara Umga Pass?

Baralacha will be barren, no knee deep snow, like Rohtang.

Pin Parvati is a very tough trek. You will reach snow on the eighth day.

Sara Umga also tough trek. Snow on the sixth day.

Kali Heni just off the main Kullu Manali Road, and reach Pass top on the fourth day with enough time to spare. (locals do it in two days)
